The Hanged Man revisited
| Eerie Investigations returned to the scene of a previous investigation, in conjunction with a crew from the Discovery Channel. The occupants had seen a resurgence of activity since our previous visit and had asked us to perform a spirit clearance this time.
The first day of the investigation provided some interesting results, Anne picked up on large amounts of data which tied in with facts known to the residents, and which have been verified by our own research. This included earlier uses of the land, and names and dates which can be verified.
During the seance and clearance Anne and one of the family members reported a cold feeling. Our temperature probes and remote temperature gauges verfied this and showed that in the area immediately around them there was a 3-4 degree temperature drop - even though the rest of the room and circle showing a consistent temperature. The area had been previously verified to be insulated and draught-free.
Following the seance Anne led the team in a spirit clearance, with the aim of "moving on" the spirit "Jonathan".

The hanged man
| The Eerie team visited a property in the south-Essex area which has had a history of activity. Interestingly, the building itself is very new but the land which it was built on has a history of use back through the 16th and 17th centuries, its being located on an old Saxon road.
The residents have experienced phenomena ranging from shadowy figures being seen moving up the stairway, through loud bangs coming from the attic area (one of which was recorded by the team during their time there), through objects being moved large distances.
Footage and notes from this investigation are being analysed at present, however our recordings did capture some unexplainable noises, and some excellent facts picked up by the resident medium are being verified at this time.

Wandering child
| A hectic couple of weeks for the Eerie Investigations team started with the investigation of a commercial property who's residents had asked us to visit and investigate a variety of phenomena which they had been experiencing, including the sounds of a child and the movement of items of stock.
This was an interesting investigation for Eerie Investigations to perform, for a number of reasons. Evidentially it also proved to be very interesting as the team experienced rapid and significant temperature changes which were recorded and verified by monitoring equipment.

The house by Dead Man's Alley
| Eerie Investigations were contacted by a young lady who lives with her family in the Edmonton area. Their home borders an area known locally as "Dead Man's Alley".
Following their moving in, the following few months saw them experience a number of unsettling occurences including; cold draughts, voices, figures seen moving out of unoccupied rooms, images of faces moving across the walls, banging sounds from upstairs empty rooms, and other phenomena.
After things came to a head, they called in the Eerie Investigations team.
The team were joined by a spirit clearance specialist, with the aim of stopping the occurences.
This investigation was highly significant for Eerie Investigations, as our one of our recorded camera tapes appears to show actual video evidence of spirit lights being "moved on".

The unexpected package - part 2
| The Eerie Investigations team returned to the scene of last week's investigation. Since our first visit and clearance, the current property has shown less activity and so it was decided to focus our attention on their previous home, a 200 year old building in the town.
Being in a quiet area, the location was ideal for a night vigil.
The team set up our monitoring equipment, and also locked off cameras and trigger objects in some rooms before settling down for a vigil.
During the vigil, two of the mediums sensed matching presences, one in particular being that of a market-trader whom had lived in the property previously.
At the half-way point, we re-examined the locked off rooms and found that in one of them a trigger object had been clearly moved over 1.5cm - the room had been locked off and sealed and no team members had entered it. We verified that vibration of the floor could not have been a possibility, and took photographic evidence. We then re-set the trigger objects and resealed the room again.
The trigger objects did not move substantially again, but review of the camera footage in that room shows unexplainable audio voices and repeated sets of 3 knock-type sounds. Camera footage also shows numerous "orbs", which appear in pairs and move in non-linear paths - at one point a locked-down camera shows the orbs moving upstairs approximately 30 seconds after the team moved to an upstairs room. Image and object path analysis confirms that these are not dust particles nor insects. The audio tracks are undergoing detailed analysis at present.
Evidentially this evening appears to have been one of our most successful to date, with demonstratable evidence of moving of trigger objects, EVP and extraneous audio voices, and repeated banging sounds. The remaining hours of footage and still shots are being examined at present.

The unexpected package
| Eerie Investigations were asked to visit and investigate a home in the Waltham Abbey area of Essex.
The occupants had recently vacated the property after suffering numerous years of paranormal phenomena - including; cold presences, orbs, unexplainable feelings of terror, and the sense that a mid-30's male was occupying the house. The youngest child, around whom many of the occurences seem to be based, often heard a voice talking to her, and the whole family frequently smelled odd unexplainable smells, for example fish, which could not be traced back to any identifiable source.
Unfortunately for the family, after they moved to a new property, many of the phenomena continued to occur.
The team investigated both properties, and discovered interesting temperature anomolies in the older one.
Inspecting camera footage showed a highly interesting faint figure-like image on one picture, which is currently undergoing analysis.
At the family's request we performed a clearance.
A repeat visit, and vigil in the property was scheduled for within the next few days. |

Mitch
| Mitch has experienced multiple UFO abductions in his life, starting from the age of 13 where he and a friend witnessed a UFO. Mitch "lost time" during this experience, and his friend noted him disappearing for over 30 seconds. Mitch had physical evidence of this experience, scars and marks which were noted by doctors at the time. Following this he gained psychic and mediumship skills, including the ability to send healing and warming energy through his hands, to stop clocks, to bend metal cutlery, and also started to develop ESP skills and strong intuition. |

| A family in Walthamstow who had recently moved house contacted us regarding concerns which they had about the property. Numerous paranormal phenomena had occurred and been witnessed by multiple family members and friends both individually and in groups. These included; doors which had no locks "locking" closed, DVD cases opening and closing by themselves, books moving across the room, sudden icy-cold blasts of air being felt - despite the house being double-glazed and the windows closed - and frequent occurences of strong odours of cigarettes and whisky being smelled, although all of the house-residents are non-smokers and non-drinkers.
After investigating the local area and talking to neighbours we determined that the previous tenant had been a heavy smoker and a whisky drinker, and that the events had started to happen after the new family had begun modernising and re-decorating the house. We took with us the famous local medium Alma Butler and interviewed Alma and the residents. Our monitoring equipment noted EMF spikes in some areas of the house, particularly one window which faced onto the street. Without being told this, Alma immediately told us that she could see the previous owner's spirit standing in this area. Alma performed a spirit-clearance, communicating with the spirit and asking to it move on. Since this date, there have been no further occurrences of any phenomena and the family feel that the house is now completely normal.
Interestingly, after visiting this property one of the Eerie team's homes started to experience a period of spirit activity, with objects being moved - for example shoes which were in a living room suddenly vanishing and being found 50 feet away in a garden. After performing a clearance, these stopped.
Follow-up - 8th January 2006. We were recently re-contacted by the family, who told us that some months after our leaving, activity started to re-occur. Things got progressively more active, culminating in the family members being woken by voices and one member of the family being thrown across the room by an unseen force. A repeat investigation is being scheduled at this time. |

| In May 2005 we met with Alan Miles, an experienced psychic/medium whom has built up extensive knowledge of the geography of the Leyton area and its fossils. Alan hunts for fossilised paeleolithic remains and has found many interesting items in this area, one of the most southerly points to be reached by prehistoric glaciers and hence an area inhabited by stone-age man. Alan gave us a fantastic interview, talked about his years of work in this field, and showed us some of his finds - items that had clearly been worked by the hand of man, such as axe-heads and what appear to be fertility-ritual related religious tools. |

Trail of Dick Turpin
| Eerie Investigations followed the trail of the spirits of Dick Turpin and Tom King, the famous pair of highwaymen who were the bane of travellers throughout the Essex area
We monitored areas of known Turpin haunts, and were also invited to a private residence which houses the famous "Turpin's Cave", a long (over half-mile) cave and tunnel network in which Turpin and King used to hide themselves and their loot. We obtained an exclusive interview with the owner of the property, discussed her experiences of paranormal phenomena in the house and surrounding area, and were shown a hand-carved stone portrait believed to be of Dick Turpin and created by Turpin himself. |

Interview and ghost evidence
| We interviewed a story-source whom requested that they remain anonymous for reasons which will be self-evident. The source is a friend of a famous pop star, and often stayed in their mediaeval home.
On one stay-over, the source and a friend both experienced hearing and capturing the sounds of arguing downstairs, and the house dogs growling towards the location of the noise. On investigation however there were no other occupants in the house at the time, and the building was far enough away from the nearest street that the sounds could not have come from outside. We could find no clear explanation for the experience or evidence. Unfortunately in order to protect the name and privacy of the individuals concerned, we are unable to provide more information regarding their backgrounds or location. |

Skywatch on the zero line
| The Eerie Investigations team returned to the site of our December 1999 vigil, but this time we ran a sky-watch at the location rather than a ghost-watch. Unfortunately sudden changing weather conditions caused much of the time to be overshadowed (in all senses) by a low cloud-bank, and the evening had to be cut short due to heavy rain towards the end. However there were some breaks in the cloud-bank, and during one of these the team witnessed a light-source at high altitude which moved in a non-linear pattern. Unfortunately this was not visible for long enough nor recordings clear enough for us to properly analyse it, however the movement pattern rules out satellites and 'planes. |

The "Magic" Hill
| We visited a part of Essex known locally as "The Magic Hill". This hill is rumoured to contain a location where cars parked on it, or rolling objects placed on it, will actually move uphill. A significant enough number of seperate people have claimed to have experienced this that we felt that there may be more to it than local folklore or hearsay.
Unfortunately we were unable to conclusively replicate this effect, and believe it to be the result of an optical illusion (of the ground layout) rather than a paranormal effect. However since performing this investigation we have acquired more sophisticated laser-measuring equipment and so will be re-visiting this location in the future. |

Skywatch - Barn Hill
| We ran another well-attended sky-watch evening and this time used as our base the Barn Hill area, well known locally for its water and earth works, and promixity to older disused military/government buildings.
Although the earlier part of the evening provided nothing more than interesting views of comets and satellites, towards the latter part of the night four of the team witnessed an unexplainable aerial object moving rapidly across the skyline. The object then produced a bright diamond-shaped flash and disappeared completely from view. The entire group of attendees monitored the skyline around the area however the object did not re-appear. There were no cloudbanks obscuring the sky, nor any type of upper atmosphere cloud which could have hidden the object. |
